Shenyang Aerospace University (SAU) is located in Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning Province in northeastern China. Shenyang city is a historical city with 7200 years and also a modern city of prominent heavy industries. Regarded as the “Aviation City” in China, Shenyang is the home to 10 manufacturing companies in aeronautics and astronautics, aeronautical research institutes and 1 aerospace university. The world leaders in aeronautics such as Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier and Cessna have opened their manufacturing sites in Shenyang. In addition, the city also enjoys the establishment of other industries requiring advanced technologies including, but not limited to automotive (BMW) and chemical industry.
