PhD degrees for international students are also available in Chinese universities. These programs are suitable for those interested in academia and research & development fields. PhD's are research intensive and very focused in a specific subject of interest or project; you will need to find or be assigned a supervisor professor. Students who have completed a post-graduate degree with a good performance have higher chances to be accepted to PhD programs on the same university or be recommended to another; having previous experience doing research and publishing papers will give you priority over other candidates.
