Record number of passengers since COVID-19 epidemic started

Wuhan city, once the COVID-19 epidemic epicenter, saw a record in the number of passengers and flights throught their main airport this past Friday.
Last Friday (2020/09/11), Wuhan Tianhe International Airport had a comeback to pre-epidemic levels, registering almost 65,000 passengers in 500 domestic flights.
The airport’s management is pushing to resume more international flights between Wuhan and some popular destinations such as Seoul, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta. It already handles 9 regular international cargo routes and planning to reopen more soon.
