University Scholarships

Most universities in China that recruit international students can directly grant scholarships to excellent applicants. Coverage types range from full to partial scholarships, and some may even give monthly stipends for living expenses as well. Expect university admission officers to be more thorough with candidates for scholarship offers, including online interviews and additional supporting documentation.

University granted scholarships are the most convenient and relatively easier to get. Each university owns a certain amount of seats or quota and have a final say on who they decide to offer it; this makes the process simpler, avoiding additional layers of screening as in CGS or Confucius Institute scholarships.

Submit your application through UniApply, increase your profile exposure to university admission officers and thus the chances of being granted a scholarship offer.
