Northwestern Polytechnical University has available scholarship opportunities for students applying for September intake 2021.
Here are some of their minimum requirements:
1. Age limit (cut-off date on 1st September 2021):
- Bachelor: 18 to 30 years old
- Master’s: under 35 years old
- PhD: under 40 years old
2. Have completed high school (bachelor applicants), bachelor degree (Master’s applicants) or Master’s degree (PhD applicants).
3. Minimum scores: (refer to table below for guidance)
4. Language requirements:
- Chinese taught programs: HSK level 4 (200 points and above) and HSKK (above intermediate level).
- English taught programs: IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 80 / SAT 1150 / PTE Academic 55 / Duolingo Online Test 95 / Cambridge Advanced Level English B or above.
*If you don’t have any English language proficiency certificates available, you can take Duolingo’s online test (https://englishtest.duolingo.com/), which results are ready in 48 hours and accepted by NPU.
5. Scholarship coverage:
NPU offers a wide range of scholarships, ranging from full scholarships with monthly stipend to tuition free only or partial scholarships. NPU’s President Scholarship for example, can offer up to free tuition + free accommodation + 1500 RMB/month stipend. The exact offer will be given after admission officer’s evaluation of each student’s profile.
Other scholarships are also available for students that are already enrolled in NPU and have shown good academic performance.
